#1 Bush Food Experience
14 April & 12 May, 12.30pm to 2.30pm

Get back to basics and discover uniquely Australian produce at Centennial Park. Here you can learn about the world’s oldest living culture with an Aboriginal guide who will show you how to gather fruit, seeds and vegetables. You will learn about traditional food preparation and get inspired to infuse these flavours in your cooking.

#2 Taste of the Opera House
April 8, May 6 & June 3, 10.45am to 2.30pm

Eat your way around Sydney’s most iconic landmark. The tour departs from the Stage Door of the Opera House and starts with a cocktail making class at Opera Bar accompanied by fresh seafood and charcuterie. Lunch is served at Portside Sydney with matched wines and finishes with dessert at Peter Gilmore’s Bennelong.

#3 Food Festivals & Tours

Crab Carnival – March 19 to April 15, The Morrison, Sydney
For the fifth year, The Morrison and chef Sean Connolly bring to you a month-long crab-tastic feast.

The Global Table – 6 May, Oxford Street Mall, Bondi Junction
Nothing brings people together more then food and music. This is a great day out for the whole family to taste food from around the world with multicultural entertainment and kids activities.

A Taste of China Town – Taste Tours
Explore China Town with an expert and discover flavours that will tantalise your taste buds. Taste Tours run three-hour walking tours which wind through China Town as your guide tells stories and introduces you to diverse Asian cuisine.

#4 Carriage Works Farmers Market
Every Saturday morning

Located just outside the city and an easy train trip away in Redfern, Carriage Works is a must-visit for market lovers. Each Saturday there is a Farmers Market full of local produce and artisanal goods. Plus, every Monday evening from the 16th of April to the 16th of July, hear from Sydney’s food community. The three month series of talks will centre around the role today’s restaurants play in taking care of the environment.
