City2Surf
12 August
From Hyde Park to Bondi Beach. Full distance: 14km

Be part of the world’s largest fun run! Join over 80,000 people in this unmissable event for serious runners and fun runners alike. The iconic course starts in the city in Hyde Park before heading right past the hotel and under the famous Coca Cola sign here in Kings Cross. You then head towards the half way point which is the infamous Heart Break hill which will test your physical and mental fitness! Then you are heading towards the beach as the course follows the shape of the coast line around to Bondi Beach. With entertainment along the way and the City2Surf Expo there is lots to love about this event.

Pub2Pub Charity Fun Run & Festival
26 August
From Dee Why Beach to Newport Beach. Full distance: 13km

Explore the Northern Beaches whilst raising money for charity, what could be better! If the full 13km course is not quite your flavour there are also a 6km course and the more family friendly 3km course. The full length course will see you set off from Dee Why Beach, the middle length course from Warriewood and the 3km course from Mona Vale, all ending at New Port Beach.

Sydney Half Marathon
26 August
3 lap course around Sydney Olympic Park. Full distance: 21.1km

Was running a half marathon on your 2018 bucket list, now is a good chance to tick this off before the year slips away! This event also features a 7km and 4km fun run options as well for those who are training or have set smaller running goals for the year.

Sydney Running Festival
16 September
From Milsons Point to Sydney Opera House. Full distance: 42.2km

If you are ticking marathon courses off your running to do list, then this is one to prioritise. The full 42.195km Sydney Marathon is a showcase of Sydney icons as you run over the Harbour Bridge and finish at the Opera House. The festival includes others events for all fitness levels including the 21.0975 Half Marathon, the 10km Bridge Run and the 3.5km Family Fun Run.

The Colour Run Sydney
7 October
Cathy Freeman Park, Sydney Olympic Park. Full distance: 5km

This event is all about fun! Five kilometres of multi-coloured excitement. This year the run is superhero themed so go find your cape and get ready to be a human rainbow. The new colour zones feature double the colour and the course also features foam clouds!

Seven Bridges Walk
28 October
Loop circuit from Milsons Point. Full distance: 28km

Love the outdoors, the exercise, the distance but not the running? Then this event is for you! The Seven Bridges Walk is a giant loop through right the way around Sydney, both north and south of the harbour. This is a great chance to see the sites of Sydney those famous and those less well known. The course features 7 villages and you can start your walk from any of them. The villages are also linked by buses if you need to take a break during your walk. The course will take around 5 hours if you are an active person, for those taking it at a more moderate pace or stopping for breaks it could take up to 8 hours.
