One of the biggest runs on the yearly calendar, the 14km fun run attracts over 80,000 participants every year. The Course

The course lives up to its name, City2Surf, as it weaves through Sydney city and finishes up at the iconic Bondi Beach. It’s a great way to see some of the best bits of Sydney. You’ll begin on the corner of Hyde Park at the intersection of Park and College Street before travelling up William Street and heading into the tunnel at Kings Cross. You’ll continue on New South Head road through the picturesque neighbourhood of Rose Bay before reaching the most challenging part of the course, appropriately named ‘Heartbreak Hill’. The good news is once you reach ‘Heartbreak Hill’ you’ve made it to the halfway point. The race to the finish is all downhill from there through Vaucluse, onto Old South Head Road and Military Road before reaching the golden, sandy, Bondi Beach.
