#1 Sydney Tea Festival
Sunday 19 August, Carriage Works
Tea lovers unite! This annual event features an extensive tea market where you can stock up on not only tea but also tea-inspired food, homeware and teaware. Tea workshops and tea talks happen across the day, other interactive experiences include the DIY tea blending station and the tea tasting table.
#2 The Great Australasian Beer SpecTAPular (GAPS)
2 June, Sydney Showground
If you consider yourself something of a beer connoisseur, aficionado or casual imbiber then the GAPS Beer, Cider and Food Fest is a day out you will enjoy. Where else you can try 170 different beers and ciders whilst also enjoying street food and trying your hand at Holey Moley mini golf? There is also an indoor ferris wheel, performance art and a silent disco to keep you entertained.
#3 Sydney Beer & BBQ Festival
29 June to 1 July, Entertainment Quarter
This is the first year this delicious three-day eating and drinking event comes to Sydney. The festival is made up of four different, ticketed sessions including two eating, drinking and music events on Friday and Saturday night, an industry or serious beer-lover event on the Saturday afternoon and a family-friendly event on the Sunday afternoon.
#4 Cheese Lovers Festival
16 June, Centennial Park
If you are serious about cheese then this is one event you won’t want to miss. Cheese is the obvious hero of the event but you will also enjoy wine, craft beer and cheese condiments. A great chance to try some new flavours, stock up on favourites and enjoy a gouda day out with friends.
